Greyscale and Colour Accuracy
I would like to see Titan Noir achieve better accuracy in Film maker mode, that’s the mode designed for accuracy, these projectors are for cinema viewing in a dark room on a white screen, so take that 1.0 gain white screen and go for better out of the box accuracy on Film maker mode in both standard BT709 colour modes and in HDR BT2020 colour modes, usually P3 but should translate to BT2020 too.Better out of the box should be below 5 delta error I think, but this would be greyscale and colour and taking into account the gamma and EITF in HDR being accurate, do it for 3D too, try to get as near to 3 delta error as possible and that would be an amazing achievement, just take a sample of your projectors and do a firmware based on that sample and aim for under 5 delta errors, 10 is in my opinion far too high in errors, under 3 is what they say you should aim for, remember this is home cinema so accuracy is important especially in Film maker mode.Thank you for listening.
Reviewing
Excuse my typing errors, EOTF above, not EITF.
