User profile with LUTS
I have a special request. Could we have USER profiles with custom LUTS? I always shoot raw with my Nikon/DJI/Fuji and love to checking footage straight out of camera after a vacation or whatever with the family. We usually check the photos but skip the videos because the footage is flat. Would be amazing if I could load .cube files for my Z8 or Drone. Bonus points if I could toggle different LUTS in my profile. I’ve seen that you have implemented curves for different color blinds scenarios and thought that LUTs could also work here. I’m pretty confident that there’s more ciné files that shoot raw than ciné files that are color blind (no offence) …? I’m comparing this because in the end, they both just add a color correction to the footage…this might seem niche, but I’m pretty confident it would be appreciated by the community. I’ve been working in the industry for over 20 years and would love to see this implemented.thanks in advance.

I agree that LUTS would be amazing and would level up the calibration capabilties of this projector to be a very serious contender. I think the devs will be slightly confused by your use case as it would be like 1 in 5000 people who would use it for exactly what you descibe, BUT for calibration purposes LUTS would enable incredible calibration accuracy, and would/should also do exactly what you are wanting, so to reframe this request to one of also being able to serve as much more accurate image calibration then I have to agree that this would be excellent. I know some High end TV's allow LUTS, I cannot think of any projectors that do, and high end Video Processors like Lumagen and MadVR allow it, if this projector allowed it they would have something over many other projector manufacturers! Please consider it. It would actually make calibration much faster you could just set your meter to create an automated correction file.
