Independent Iris and Laser Level Settings for Picture Modes

The user should be able to set Iris and Laser Level differently for different Picture Modes (SDR / HDR / Dolby Vision).  On many projectors they are part of Project Setting and the same settings applies to all picture modes, which would require changes every time a different picture mode is used.

Thank you for your feedback. Under the current design, both the Brightness Level and Dynamic Iris settings are global and are not linked to individual picture modes or content formats. To help us evaluate the necessity of this design, we’d like to understand your preferences: If you typically adjust these settings based on the picture mode or content format, could you share your specific configurations and the reasoning behind them?

For the particular request, I was actually focusing on _Manual_ Iris, not Dynamic Iris (which I understand has only one setting). For SDR modes, most people prefer to keep the _peak_ luminance at 100 nits, by reducing the Brightness Level (and/or the _Manual_ Iris). For HDR10 and Dolby Vision, however, the "Diffuse White" (~50% input level) is close to 100 nits so the peak luminance needs to be much higher, say at 200 nits. Hense the request to have separate settings for them.

I now have the Titan Noir Pro and can confirm that's indeed an issue. With the Apple TV, f/5.5 is fine for Dolby Vision Movies, but the main screen in SDR looks too bright.

I believe that's the same as https://xgimi.userjot.com/board/p/independent-iris-and-laser… If the iris setting is specific to each picture mode, no additional "memory" is required.
